10-minute body scan for labour anxiety
A guided mindfulness practice that reduces anticipatory anxiety and connects you to your body.

This guided body scan is designed specifically for late pregnancy. It takes 10 minutes and can be done in bed, on a yoga mat, or anywhere you can lie or sit comfortably.
Note: An audio version of this exercise is available in the app.
The practice
Close your eyes and take three slow breaths. Begin by noticing your feet — not judging, just noticing. Warmth, heaviness, tingling, or nothing at all. Slowly move your attention upward: ankles, calves, knees...
When you reach your belly, pause. Place one hand there if you'd like. Notice the rise and fall of your breath. You don't need to feel anything in particular. You are simply here, with your body, which is doing remarkable work.
