About Maternally

Perinatal mood and anxiety disorders affect up to 1 in 5 mothers — yet across the Gulf, culturally attuned, clinically credible support has been hard to find. Maternally exists to close that gap.

0102Our thesis

Built for the Gulf, from the start

Most perinatal mental health tools are built for a US or European context, then translated as an afterthought. Maternally starts from the opposite premise: Arabic is a first-class language, not a translation layer, with full right-to-left design and regionally correct crisis resources for Bahrain, the UAE, and KSA from day one.

That means validated clinical instruments where the Arabic translation itself has been through clinical review, a tone that speaks to mothers directly and with dignity (أنتِ), and an escalation protocol that calls the right hotline for the right country — not a US number that doesn't work here.
